Step 1

The first and foremost thing you have to do is to create a Google account with your business’s name. This account should contain all the information about your business. Set up it with a proper domain name.

Once you create your Google account, you can now easily create a GMB profile at www.business.google.com. Once you set up your GMB account, you can now easily manage your business through your mobile app.

Now you have to follow an easier step. Enter your business name, so that your customers can locate you easily.

Now you have to fill up the columns of your location. Fill these columns minutely. State whether you deliver your goods to the customer’s doorstep or not.

After starting your business location, fill the columns of your service area. That is, in which areas people can get your service. If you work within your stated business location select “specific areas”, if you or your people reach out of the location, specify how many miles or kilometers your service can reach.

Step 6

Now select the category of your business. Here you just have to select from the menu. If you have more than one category to apply to, choose the one you are best in. You can update or add more to this later on.

Now you are about to end creating a GMB profile.  After finishing and verifying you are allowing people to find you on Google search and maps, add posts and photos to your account, and respond to customers’ reviews.

After you finish your listing Google will complete the verification process. For this google will send you a postcard to your stated address. Type your name and then click on the “MAIL” button to receive the mail within 5 business days. Once you receive the mail after making a GMB profile you are all set for digital marketing and your customers can easily find you on Google.
